MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK | 10th-16th May

MONDAY 10th | Sunrise Tour | 0730 – 0930 | £40.00 pp
Join us as we start the day in the best possible way! A cruise around Gylly Bay as the morning hues fill the sky. Tour includes a safety brief on the beach detailing the basics of how to paddle, with the remaining time spent paddling around the bay to caves, beaches and over reefs.
All abilities welcome. 
TUESDAY 11th | SUP Interval Class | 0800-0900 / 1800-1900 | £10.00 pp
Our SUP Interval class is the best way to raise the heart rate, get a dose of the feel-good endorphins, and experience a workout like no other! We will do a warm up on the beach, ensure everyone is competent at controlling our boards, and anchor ourselves in the bay before an interval class you’ll never forget. 
WEDNESDAY 12th | SUP Meditation | 1730-1830 | £10.00 pp
Floating on a paddleboard is the ideal backdrop for shifting your awareness within to create a calm, centred space. We will take a gentle paddle before we anchor up and take a short guided meditation on the water.
THURSDAY 13th | Beach Clean | 1300-1400 | £10.00 pp
Beach cleaning is a great way for us ocean lovers to give back to Mother Nature. We will take our buckets and litter pickers out on our boards and reach the hard-to-get-to places on a gentle paddle around the bay. 
FRIDAY 14th | Beginner Lesson | 1300-1400 | £35.00 pp
Our most renowned lesson that is guaranteed to get you stood up on a board and paddling like a pro! Aimed at absolute beginners who want personalised tuition on the water.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK | 10th – 16th MAY

All of us here at wesup. love what we do. Paddleboarding has become part of our lives in many different aspects, and we truly advocate for the wellness benefits this sport offers us. Mental health awareness has grown massively in recent years, and with the past year we have all just experienced it is at the forefront of our minds to ensure we are prioritising self-care as much as our other daily tasks.
So for Mental Health Awareness Week we are putting on special events throughout the week to offer you an insight into the wellness benefits paddleboarding taps into.
By getting out on a board and floating across the ocean, you instantly feel the escapism filter through your body.
The sounds and smell of the water, wildlife grabbing your attention for short moments, the simple repetitive task of dipping your paddle into the sea, all add to the ‘Blue Health’ benefits of getting out on the water immersed in nature.
