Take your yoga practice and workouts to a new level with our SUP Fitness & Yoga offering. Available at Wesup Gylly Beach in 2022, we have a wide range of classes and clinics for all abilities. A perfect way to mix up your usual fitness routine!

WESUP

SUP YOGA CLASS

£10 | +18's only.

Join us on the water as we test our serenity and balance in a gentle vinyasa flow atop our paddle boards. There is no better feeling than waking your body up to the sounds of sea birds and rippling water lapping against your board as we bask in the first rays of light across the bay. Our SUP Yoga class is a real test of composure as we guide you through a slow grounding flow, gradually increasing our confidence as we attempt more challenging asanas. Don’t be put off by the prospect of having a wobble and falling in though, each class can be taken to your own pace and an instructor will be there offering alternative postures based on the conditions and the groups ability.

  • Well practised yogis looking to mix-up your weekly routine
  • First timers wanting a challenge to get that perfect headstand picture!

We recommend wearing yoga/sports that you don’t mind getting wet. Please bring a spare change of clothes and a towel in case you take an unplanned dip!

All abilities welcome, all paddling equipment provided!

SUP INTERVAL CLASS

£7.50 | +18's only.

The beach is our perfect playground to stretch out the muscles and get the heart pumping. In our SUP Interval class we offer a dynamic 40 minute workout combining a mixture of body-weight exercises that gets the energy flowing! We start with a warm up on the beach before grabbing our boards and jumping on the water. The instructor will detail each exercise to be performed as we work ourselves to a calorie-burning euphoria through a set of short high-intensity intervals.

Getting outside in the fresh sea air and combining the added workout of staying balanced on our boards makes for a wholesome exercise routine that fuels our mind, body and spirit.

10 minutes beach warmup – 40 minute interval class – 10 minute cool down paddle

We recommend wearing gym clothes that you do not mind getting wet. We advise not wearing a wetsuit!

SUP RACING CLINIC

£10| +18's only.

Stand-up Paddle boarding has taken on many forms as the sport grows in popularity. One core element that has always been at the heart of paddlesports is racing. Our SUP Racing Clinic offers you the chance to experience what it takes to master your paddle stroke and take the next step to becoming a strong, efficient paddler.

These clinics detail the differing aspects of SUP racing from long distance (10km+) paddles, sprint distances, buoy turns and beach starts.
The fundamental actions of these skill-sets will be broken down and we will offer insights into your technique on how to maximise your efficiency whilst paddling.

This clinic will give you the platform to experience SUP racing in a safe environment with a group of likeminded people and is perfect for:

  • Those looking to take part in their first race
  • Those wanting to expand their paddling boundaries and ability to paddle for longer with ease.

Welcome to our newest addition to the wesup. catalogue; the SUP & Yoga Retreat.

We are very excited to invite you with us on this collaborative journey between wesup. and Lily Wild Yoga as we showcase the best of the cornish coastline in a new retreat styled experience.

This offering combines our love of exploring the coast by paddleboard with the practice of yoga to deepen our awareness of ourselves and the land beneath our feet. We are big believers in taking time out of the daily rush to connect with our bodies and soak in the landscapes around us we call home. This retreat is a dose of wellness to reset and revitalise your human ready to take on the world!

We begin our day by introducing you to your equipment and the key skills needed to control your paddleboard efficiently. Once we are familiar with our gear and ready to begin the adventure, we guide you across Gylly Bay over the reefs and past the caves offering plenty of opportunity to explore Cornwalls diverse coastline. We land on a quiet secluded beach and prepare for a nourishing yoga flow guided by Lily Wild Yoga. We end with a relaxing Savansana before awakening our bodies again with light refreshments provided by Solskinn CoffeeHaus. Once refuelled and ready to paddle, we launch our boards again for the return journey back to civilisation feeling renewed and grateful to have experienced such beauty only a short distance from home.
